Carpe Clinic is a healthcare clinic offering specialised treatments, with a strong emphasis on professional care and patient trust. Alongside its clinical services, the clinic uses skincare products as part of its treatments and wanted to make these available online through a dedicated webshop.
This project consisted of two closely related but distinct parts: a redesign of the existing clinic website, and the design and development of a new webshop. Both needed to feel calm, credible, and clinical, while supporting different user goals.

A redesign of the existing Carpe Clinic website to improve structure, clarity, and trust. The project refined layout, content hierarchy, and visual direction to better support patients researching treatments and booking appointments.
Alongside the website redesign, a new webshop was designed and developed to sell skincare products used by the clinic. The webshop follows the same visual and UX principles, ensuring a consistent and trustworthy experience.
The user experience was refined to guide patients clearly through the website. Strong hierarchy, predictable navigation, and clear page structures support treatment research and reduce uncertainty during decision-making.
Design exploration & validation
Multiple design directions were explored through wireframes and layout variations. This allowed key decisions around hierarchy, tone, and clarity to be tested before finalising both the website and webshop designs.

The visual design was updated to convey calm, professionalism, and medical credibility. A restrained colour palette, clear typography, and generous spacing support a clinical and reassuring presence.

UX decisions were guided by the behaviour and expectations of both existing and new patients. Users typically visit the website to research treatments, understand the clinic’s expertise, and book appointments. When visiting the webshop, their goal is to confidently purchase products they already associate with the clinic.

The visual identity supports a calm, clinical, and professional presence. Colour usage, typography, and layout were refined to convey trust, clarity, and confidence, while remaining flexible across different content types and devices.
The same visual language was applied consistently across the website and webshop, reinforcing credibility and cohesion.
